Diastasis Recti Abdominis
80% of mothers suffer from a divarication of the rectus abdominis muscle, or commonly known as the Diastasis Recti Abdominis (DRA) or ‘Mummy Tummy’.
DRA is often accompanied with saggy skin and an inability to lose the mummy tummy despite weight loss.
Left untreated, DRA could lead to pelvic floor dysfunction, lower back pain and a hernia.
Pelvic Floor & Incontinence
Females are twice as likely to suffer from pelvic floor conditions and Incontinence due to factors such as pregnancy, childbirth and menopause.
Signs of pelvic floor dysfunction can include loss of bladder control, feeling a weakness of the bladder, and/or involuntary urinary leakage.
Pelvic floor dysfunction could lead to lifestyle issues, reliance on diapers and pelvic organ prolapse.
Vulva & Vaginal Laxity
As women age, relaxing of the vaginal wall can lead to Vulva & Vaginal Laxity or vaginal relaxation syndrome (VRS).
This is often aggravated by childbirth, especially multiple pregnancies and deliveries, and hormonal changes that cause vaginal atrophy.
Tightening of the vulva and vagina canal can improve the optimal structure of the vaginal canal, strengthen tissue and improve intimate health.
